Cream Cheese Icing

Cream Cheese Icing
Creamy and delicious cream cheese icing- perfect with pumpkin or carrot cake.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup salted butter softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar 325 grams
- 1 Tbsp milk room temperature
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixer with the whisk attachment, beat cream cheese and butter on medium high speed for 2-3 minutes. It will lighten in color.
- Slowly add the powdered sugar, about 1/4 cups at a time on low-medium speed.
- Slowly add the milk and vanilla on low speed then beat on medium high for another minute until fluffy.
